about the program
The Skoltech Internet of Things and Wireless Technologies program is based on the Internet of Things paradigm and its key pillars: data transmission, data analysis, IoT software and hardware design. It aims to provide comprehensive support to students, with the ultimate goal of creating, implementing, and globally promoting wireless and IoT technologies, as well as fostering an environment for cutting-edge advancements in these fields.

Research-based teaching
All Skoltech faculty and research staff are engaged in internationally recognized scientific research across a wide range of topics. We incorporate findings from this research into teaching.

Cutting-edge industrial & technology experience
The majority of student projects are performed in collaboration with industry partners. The best students are entitled to academic mobility internships of up to 6 months. Moreover, all the courses are taught in English.

Program graduates work in the private and public sectors in telecommunications, software engineering, IT departments of industrial companies, banking, medicine, agriculture, etc. As an alternative, graduates can embark on PhD.

devising solutions for industrial cases (manufacturing, health care, agriculture, etc.) using wireless and IoT tech
2 years of master's studies are equivalent to 120 ECTS credits. They are awarded for the courses taken, but also for research work, disciplines in entrepreneurship and innovation, and an internship in the industry.

Every candidate must take an online subject test. You will be notified via email about the date and time of your test.

Final stage
The final selection takes place in Moscow. You have to pass an English exam on site or present valid proof of English proficiency, and take an in-person interview and entrepreneurship challenge. Extra written examinations may be required for certain programs during this time (you will be notified in advance). In case you're not from Moscow, we can accommodate you in the Skoltech dorms for the selection weekend period.

Enrollment
You will be enrolled in Skoltech based on the results of all competitive selection procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics or Mathematics.
