The future of the global power industry is inconceivable without modern IT solutions in energy system design and control. We combine in-depth IT training (computation, modeling, data analysis) and thorough study of basic engineering approaches to cultivate future industry leaders.

Program Structure:
The 2-year program comprises compulsory and recommended elective courses on the most important topics, wide set of elective courses (depending on research and professional needs of the student), entrepreneurship and innovation component, research activity and 8 weeks of industrial immersion.

Entry requirements:
Knowledge and skills:
Linear algebra, Calculus, Differential equations, Basic probability, Programming, General Physics (mechanics, electro-magnetism, thermodynamics)


Education:
Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics, or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electric or Mechanical)
English language:
If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency

Prepare all documents and submit your application by filling in the form on Skoltech's web site

Online selection
Take a profile online test. The higher your scores, the higher your chances of moving on to the next step

Final selection
The final round takes place in Moscow. You have to pass an English exam on site or present a valid TOEFL certificate, and pass an interview
4
Enrolment
Based on the results of each applicant's overall performance, we will make a list of students to be enrolled free of charge
